In regards to the 10/24/00 news article on the upcoming opening of the Thomas Edison Museum, I would like to add that there is another restored station on the line between Detroit and Port Huron. The Mt. Clemens Depot was restored in the early 1980's by the Michigan Transit Museum. With the restoration of the Port Huron Station and the restoration of the New Haven station the total number of restored stations from this line will be 4. Port Huron, Smiths Creek, New Haven, and Mt. Clemens. I hope this clears up any confusion.

This picture of a heavyweight baggage car being scrapped by the MTM was included on their website. What was the heritage of this car? Why was it being scrapped?
Thanks,
Tom
