As could be expected, the past year has seen articles in about all the railfan and rail history publications about the 1948-49 Chicago Rail Fair. Wonder how much of the displayed equipment still exists. The PIONEER ZEPHYR and C&NW "Pioneer" come to mind as survivors. <br>Anyone know what the U.S. Army Transportation Corps had on display?<br><br> |
