Post subject:  What's Left In Minneapolis?

Read in the "Briefs" Archives that Soo Line's historic Shoreham Shops was being torn down. As a lifelong Soo Line fan, though not a resident of the Twin Cities OR Soo Line country, I would like to know from reliable sources, how much was torn down? What is left? Does CP have any further plans concerning the Shoreham site? Thank you for your information.<br>

<br>As of 1995 half of the roundhouse and the diesel shop remained. These probably torn down when CP moved thier shops to St. Paul in 1997. The classifcation yard was removed in 1988 or so in favor of Pig's Eye hump yard. I know for certain that Soo still has a intermodel ramp and a grain elevator there.
