The Texas Railroad Preservation Association is working on getting a Texas & New Orleans RR caboose donated to us. We have an agreement to get it but have been unable to secure the $3300 needed to move it to Houston. If anyone is interested in seeing this caboose restored to use on an excursion with Southern Pacific 982 when its own restoration is completed, we have to act soon. The current owners need to get it moved soon. They have another offer from someone who plans to turn it into a concession stand.<p>Please contact myself or the Texas Railroad Preservation Association<br>P.O.
