Anyone know what the status of steam is at Illinois Railroad Museum?

We are not advertising scheduled steam again this year, 2006 operations.

Work continues on the UP 428, a 2-8-0, at a steady pace. But that is probably a year or two down the road.

However, our shay, Klickitat Logging 5, is also getting some attention. And depending on progress and the trail of discovery along the way, there MAY be a SLIGHT chance that will see a fire in her belly late in the season. Keep it under your hat.
