| Post subject: | Stolen Baggage Carts |
Two Baggage Carts were stolen from the Amtrak West Oakland (CA) Crew Base sometime June 2, or June 3. They are 1940s vintage, all steel, Medium Blue in color. They have removable steel and wood sides and ends and they are equipped with tongues for hooking together or to a tractor. They have 4 spoked wheels and rubber tires. They have "commissary" painted on the side and were once used in Southern Pacific's passenger service.<p>These carts were destined for our museum and we would like to recover them.
