I know Trains magazine carried a photo of one of a<br>class of 2-8-8-2's (Baldwins, I think) that were <br>sold for service in south-western China. If memory serves, they looked to be based upon the USRA design and probably would have looked at home on the N&W during the 'teens. I don't believe any have survived, but I would gladly b proven wrong.<br>
