steamlocomotive.info recently acquired a photo of a 4-cylinder, Baldwin Vauclain compound 2-8-0 which is on display at the Imperial Palace in Changchun, Jilin Province, China.

The story of how it came to be displayed is interesting and can be read at

So are there any un-altered Vauclain Compounds in the US?

The four Manitou and Pikes Peak Railway cog engines in Colorado all still have their Vauclain compound engines. So does WP&Y 2-8-0 #57 at Minto Park, Dawson City, YT, Canada. These five, and now the Baldwin in China; are the only known unrebuilt Vauclain compounds still remaining.
