The Florida Gulf Coast RR Museum has one EMD NW5 model diesel locomotive available for sale or trade. This is a rare model built in 1947. It was originally Detroit Union Station number 2. It was last used by Gardinier Phosphate Co in Florida and is not in operating condition. It has no traction motors and a broken crankshaft but does ride on roller bearing trucks so it can be moved in freight service. The unit is rebuildable.
