It is the former KCT roundhouse located by Santa Fe junction. This is a thorough restoration in that the structure was completely stripped before being put back together again. The structure is now essentially put back together. It also appears the structures will be climate controlled. The turntable is still there. I'm going back down this weekend, I'll have to get some pictures. Gerald, What a neat project! I would love to hear what is in store for this building. Museum, meeting hall, coffee shop? Any problems with lead based paint clean up? Soil problems? Best of luck! Smokebox |
