I read the recent update regarding the E Units and wondered if all of the former Chicago commuter units found good homes or not.<p>Gerry K.<br>

Andrew Toppan's Surviving E-units list has all the information you need: just call up the page on your browser from the link below, and use the search or find command to locate the keyword METRA.<p>You'll find that most have very nice homes: some at museums (IRM, St. Louis), some in executive train service (Susquehanna, IC), some held in reserve in commuter fleets (MARC in Maryland), some on dinner trains (Nashville & Eastern's Braodway Dinner Train).
