I enjoyed a number of years volunteering, mostly on locomotive crews but also in restoration, with the Salem & Hillsborough before the disastrous fire. I always enjoyed working with Ed, who was conductor on a regular basis. It's nice to see such a capable and loyal volunteer- and such a nice guy- receiving some recognition in his community!
