The thread related to the Museum of Science and Industry auctioning off it's trains lead me to the link below which show that one time Pine Creek RR mainstay No. 26 was up for auction. This was a huge surprise. Perhaps I missed something.

Pine Creek/NJMT succeeded in purchasing the engine prior to the auction, so she's staying put.
