Post subject: | who has the best volunteer program? |
while we spend a lot of time talking about rust and such here, i think it would be wise to invest a few electrons to think about our own volunteer programs and evaluate what works at each organiation especially well; afterall if we don't have people, we don't have trains; so, anybody got an aspect of their organiation that is really outstanding? is your recruiting program tops? is your organiation excellent? is your training program something worth noting? whose got a leadership structure that encourages things to get done? anybody having especially good luck in recruiting the two groups that i consider essential to any groups like ours: the retirees and the 20-somethings?
from the postings, maybe we can make a composite of THE BEST VOLUNTEER PROGRAM.

jwrinn@charlotte.com |
