Hi to all This is a listing of the exciting events going on at several locations in Cheyenne on May 21st and 22nd 2011. We are encouraging people to leave their cars at the first venue which is the Cheyenne Ice and Events center, 1530 W lincolnway SHERMAN HILL MODEL RAILROAD SHOW, loads of layouts and vendors, miniature train rides. Take the FREE Cheyenne Trolley's to venue 2 Historic Cheyenne Depot Museum, 15th st Cheyenne, free museum entry all weekend, Railroad art show, Anna Lee Ames will present the filmshow about Ames monument built to commerate the UP transcontinental RR and her descendant Oakes Ames at 2pm on Saturday, more railroad displays here as well. Take the FREE trolley to venue 3 W 15th street, The car 57 project, tour the project and imagine travelling on Cheyenne's earliest piece of rolling stock. Miniature live steam train rides here too with vintage locomotives, a special gunslingers show at midday Saturday and sunday. Take the FREE trolley to venue 4 Union Pacific steam shop and roundhouse, (NO private car access trolley passengers only) Tour the home of 3985, 844, 6936, and the E9's and see all the other items of stored and preserved stock.
