I remember my relatives formerly of CT sending a newspaper article on a gent whose father and bought Pullmans and moved them to his home. 15 or so years ago they were disposed of, one or more to the Valley Railroad? Anyone have a story or roster and their disposition? Regards, Joshua |

Two of those, ex Boston and Maine, may be the ones now at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union. Bob Kutelal |

Jim Bradley was the man who collected them in his Stonington, CT backyard. From what I know Illinios has none of them. One went to the Valley Railroad in Essex, CT. "Great Republic" One went to a private owner, the "Fox Point" The rest went to the Railroad Museum of New England and all are stored there. "Forrest Hills" #603 saw some work done to it a year or so ago to redo the roof to protect the car. The "Philinda" #610, "Staghound" and "Breslin Tower" are stored awaiting thier turn in the restoration que. Here's a better article on Bradley's Pullmann collection. One other interesting note is that FL-9 # 2019 that is mentioned in that article is also now preserved at RMNE and is infact one of the regularly used excursion engines. http://sh1.webring.com/people/bk/king5021/Railroad/OldRailroadsOfConnecticut1.html#Bradley |
