Post subject: Construction Railways?

I received this message from the mailing list for the Historical Construction Equipment Association. Can anyone direct this gentleman in the right direction?
----------------------------------------
Hi,
I am researching the use of light railways (15" - 30") in domestic (US) construction during the early part of the 1900s. Can anyone subscribing to this list point me to (or know of someone who has) sources of information that might indicate how, and to what extent, light railways were used to
support construction projects? Specifically I'm interested in production numbers and applications (highway, dam, bridge, etc.) for Koppel (O&K)equipment but would welcome input on all manufacturers.
I don't subscribe to this list so please email me at "brian_williams@ameritech.net" if you can help. Thanks!
-Brian Williams
Not a lot of krautkettles worked over here until recently. Small locomotives were built by the big guys as well as some picturesque small builders like Glovers, Tanner and Delaney, etc.
Information on Glovers small locomotives is available in Dick Hillmans book on the subject.
Dave
