I understand that Alco had an employee publication called "Alco News". After World War II Alco ran a series of stories on recipes from the dining car departments of various railroads that used Alco locomotives.

I found in our files a letter dated December of 1946 from the Erie saying they had sent some recipes and photos for this series.

Does anyone have or know of a source to see "Alco News". Obviously I am interested to see the Erie article which I presume ran in 1947. I wonder if the DL&W was also featured?

Any leads greatly appreciated.

Sit tight and be patient. I think there was at least a partial set buried in the estate stuff we brought back to the one museum..... somewhere in the two 40' containers by now.....
