Oh, the old American "Can-Do" spirit is alive and well...trouble is, it's mostly alive in other countries. Not meaning to demean the terrific work being performed by Strasburg, The C&TS, WW&F, and all the other places where restoration work is performed beautifully. But the US, compared with the UK, is MILES behind in appreciation of our Steam heritage. |
