Post subject:  Beyer- Peacock Wheel Lathe

I have been advised that there is a Beyer - Peacock wheel (tire) turning lathe available in Auckland, New Zealand.

It is my understanding that it is complete, less the drive motor which may mean it is complete as in 1877 it would have been belt drive.

I believe it is available for no cost to any group or individual upon the understanding that it be preserved. Images should be forthcoming as well as dimensions.

Please let me know if you or a group you know are interested and I will put you in contact with the right people.
