Hello Hello all,

Whilst doing some research for a layout project of mine, I found some old documents from the WM that almost resemble a Track Occupancy Form D. Keep in mind, these were at the local library. Any idea of how WM gave symbols to trains according to route? This would def. help me in furthering what I can and can't find out about the Railroad.

Thanks in advance,

Chris B.

You might try the WM Historical Society (whatever that is) or ask on the NMRA OpSIG board or at the Steam Era Freight Car list (on Yahoogroups).

Leastwise, that'd be a start.

The Western Maryland Railway Historical Society, Inc., founded in the 1960s, owns and operates a museum and library/archives collection in the former WM office building and station in Union Bridge, Maryland. The society has over 1,000 members and its facilities are open on Sundays, year 'round. Here is their website: http://moosevalley.org/wmrhs/
