Is UP 4014 equipped with roller bearings on the drivers?

Mike Armstrong (CoasterFan2105) posted a video on YouTube of the #4014 consist departing West Colton Yard and heading up the ex-SP Palmdale Cutoff to Cajon Summit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRxKpiD_ntY. The train can be viewed from an overpass leaving the yard at 6:19 into the video, car names and numbers visible.

Yes, like all modern UP power 4014 has roller bearings on all its axles, including the drivers. The rods are not equipped with roller bearings.

I don't really see what all the big fuss is about. Here in Heber we have been running a 4000 series Big Boy for several years!

I thought it was really sharp how UP had the diesel 4014 in the lead, the steamer 4014, then diesel 4884 trailing. Wonder who had that bright, but very cool idea?
