Every so often you'll see a set of pictures of the same person in the same place or on the same locomotive or car after a lapse of many years. So I'm wondering if we have set a record for this sort of thing:

73 years, 4 months, 5 days. Now that's dedication!

Randall -

And congrats to Dick George for being around to set the record. Nice idea Randall to raise funds for IR #65. When the new seats are installed, here's hoping that Dick is around for the 75th year diamond jubilee of the photo and trip.

How old is Mr. George? He must be in his 90's?

Not only did Mr. George ride the IRR, he extensively filmed it on 8mm film. His film is largely the basis of out video program of the IRR. Did you know that the IRR ran one of the first unit coal trains?
