As required by federal legislation, the State of West Virginia has been writing a plan for railroad investment and planning. Most of it deals with freight and "regular" passenger services (Amtrak and commuter), but tourist/heritage rail gets a bit of ink, too. http://www.westvirginiarailplan.com/DraftRailPaln.aspx Main problem is how to pay for some of these things. What else is new? |
