Great work day yesterday at Silo 72.....had the luxury of a new volunteer who brought lunch out for us, percolator bubbling away on the stove in car 57 and all was good. Got the new subfloor down in the caboose and are now ready to tackle the roof. We will move the stove in soon as well. We do like the undercover thing !
We found that at some point in its railway life the floor under the stove had caught light and burnt quite happily, bet that was a fun experience for the conductor.
