Well, the surviving ET&WNC boxcar roster is now down to two...

We've been working the past two years to acquire this car, but progress has been held up in some negotiations between heirs of the estate that the boxcar belonged to.

Nationally, maybe this isn't such a big loss, but it sure is around here.

Matt, I was saddened to read this. Since you are doing miracles in your restoration shop with other wooden cars with little left to rebuild, is there anything left of this car at all - even just the sills and or ends?

All you can do is make a new deal for the hard parts.

Best of Luck to you guys!

SON OF A....I
'd heard this boxcar was still out there but I'd never seen it. I have a queasy feeling now, having just read that.
If they find who did this, someone get a rope!
