Tonight we fitted two of our 8 new seats into Car 57, they came via the Mid Continent Railroad Museum who have been amazing to deal with. Re-upholstered in town by Stitch Headz and sponsored by individuals and companies who's names appear on the head cloths (also supplied FOC by Cheyenne Stitch) they make the car come alive inside. A new floor from Kaiser flooring, new stove stacks, all glass donated by BW glass and all lumber at cost from Capital Lumber, stove donated privately. I also installed a new ceiling panel restored by myself a few months ago.
We are very lucky to live in such a generous city and area,
thank you to all so much, we hope to have her and the caboose on show again in May 2014.
