(Note: the moderators have approved this. Yes, I did ask.)

Gabe and I have written a collection of twelve short stories, most funny and all clean, about Christmas and trains (this year's collection is mostly model and many relate to baby boomers getting trains as Christmas gifts.) We'd like to give five copies of the print version to the first five people on this forum who reply to this message and would like to have them.

If anyone else cares to read On Track for Christmas, the e-book in .pdf format will be available free to anyone who participates in rail preservation, as a thank you from those of us who wish we could help more.

Becky,
I'd be interested in a copy. Might want more depending on content to sell in my store.

My kids love books and trains, so it would be a natural for me.

That didn't take long! :) Those who haven't e-mailed me your addresses, send them to RMSMorgan at-sign yahoo dot com.

We should have the .pdf ready tonight or tomorrow, depending on whether we add some more pictures because it's fun to pose scenes on the layout.

I see only four actual request replies actually on list so far. Do I count as the fifth?

Bill O'Reilly would be proud!

Thank you for making the collection available to forum members at no charge!

I THINK I got all the .pdfs out, but I'm going to take another look and double-check. If you asked and don't have one by tomorrow, E-mail me again in case something got lost.
The hard copies should get out tomorrow and be where they're going by the end of the week.

Hope you all enjoy them, and thank you all for the encouragement.

Becky,
What a delightful surprise in my mailbox this evening when I got home from work! Your book, On Track for Christmas, was sitting there waiting for me! Thank you very much for your thoughtfulness. I will start reading it in the morning!
Best regards,
Ray
