Post subject:  Narrow Gauge Passenger Sleeper #470 in Colorado Springs

The Colorado Springs branch of the Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad has been restoring Pullman Sleeper #470 at the Pikes Peak Historical Street Railway Foundation & Museum in Colorado Springs.

To document their progress on the car (formerly Outfit Car #0252), they’ve got a blog at:

http://friendsofthectsrrcos.blogspot.com/

As usual in a project like this, they’re looking for more information and have been referred to the Illinois Railway Museum and the '1888 Car Builder's Cyclopedia'.

If you have - or know of - drawings, pictures, or other items pertinent to the Car 470’s restoration, please contact John Engs of the Friends at jengs@engsventures.com, or Tom Simco (also of the Friends) at htjsm3@centurylink.net.

Thanks for your help.
