I was under the impression that 1098 came with the CNJ property, and has been owned by the R&N for some time. |

If I recall correctly, the 1098 became R&N property when they acquired a significant portion of former Rail Tours equipment several years ago (2009 maybe?) The 1098 was sent to Port Clinton for storage, while a number of cars have been returned to service on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway. Dave |

Dave And the Rail Tours canteen car became the second jug for #425. There is a lot of interesting information about #1098 on the Rail Tours group on Facebook. Rob |
