Does anyone have any information on two CNW RPO's that are being stored at the former Casad Army Depot in New Haven, Indiana? The numbers were covered over and any other areas of identification were rusted over. Are these owned by the Fort Wayne RHS?

There is also an old NP baggage car, N&W boxcar, and NKP RPO #31 nearby.

My best guess is that they are C&NW 8200 and 8201, built in 1950 by Pullman-Standard. I don't know which one is which, but they are a match for those two cars.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! (Your site is a great tool).
I found an old photo of 8200, and I noticed that the cars have different window designs.

NS 3322 -

The road number for the Nickel Plate RPO kind of threw me, so I looked it up. The car was number 31 on the old Wheeling & Lake Erie, and later became NKP 831, probably after the Wheeling became an integral part of the NYC&StL.

Hopefully the boys at Ft. Wayne will restore her one day.

It is listed as #31 on their website (there are a few mistakes on their equipment roster page), thanks for the correction!
