Thanks,

Doug

Not sure who made them originally but I believe Power Rail has replacements listed in their catalog.

Thank you for the url link Mike, but I am looking for the knife switch as seen in the photo and not an "alternative".

Doug,
Electroswitch was one of several OEMs supplying this part. Have you contacted EMD?

Seriously?

I've seen machinists and electrical geeks who could (and HAVE) built stuff like this out of scrap lying around their benches. In their sleep. And in some cases, they could come up with a modern-day substitute that is both safer and more robust.

Do you absolutely need OEM? Is this for a museum display? Is there a reason you need that exact switch?

Mr. Mitchell, Not sure why your getting all bothered. I am not interested in custom building one of these knife switches, nor did I say anything about wanting to acquire one of these knife switches. I simply asked who the manufacturer of the knife switch is. Please do not assume what my reasons or intentions for asking the question are. Thank you.

Mr. Tillger, Thank you for your additional information. Considering Electroswitch was an OEM supplier I will check with them. EMD will be of no help as EMD does not reveal any information regarding who makes their products for them.

When the Charger for battery is at 400 AMP Battery knife switches don’t applied over Bolt and Nut a bottom because the washer a 4 leg that keep bolt tight.

That only place the a straight portion a on the before at top lug.

The washer the brass a can heat a temperate an lost tight.
