The Heber Valley Railroad recently installed a signal bridge over the end of the yard. The actual signals are not on it yet. According to a person on NGDiscussion.net, the bridge was restored Kerry and Derrick Klarr, members of the Promontory chapter of the NRHS ( http://ngdiscussion.net/phorum/read.php?1,243170,243185). Derrick and Kerry did an amazing job facilitating the preservation, restoration and installation of this signal bridge! Even without the signals, it already adds to the whole vibe of that yard.

Thanks for that picture. I missed the installation of it. I am just wondering- do my pictures work?

Yes, your photos came through. Just thought I'd share a work-in-progress shot.

It'll look VERY nice with Mt. Timpanogos in the distance!

Nice photos! Signal bridge really looks good! Not to steal the thread, but I noticed the double lower quadrant semaphore in the distance in the above photo and just had to ask if it's operational. Sure wish we had a lower quadrant semaphore (single blade would suffice) at HVRM.

The semaphore is operational. The upper blade acts as a position indicator for the split point derail immediately below. The intention is to install the signal heads on the bridge and have them light based on other switch positions throughout the yard. There are also several other signal items in the Heber collection that are still awaiting installation.

Glad to see someone got pictures of it going up! I was wondering how it went up. I would have been there to watch but I was down to Kanab.
