Anyone out there have a photo of Erie 03302, a 250-ton wrecking crane? It later became Conrail 45210 and is now at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. I'm interested in the machine in its pre-Conrail paint, either Erie or Erie-Lackawanna. Thanks in advance.

Larry DeYoung's EL Color Guide (Morning Sun Publishing, 1995) has photos of all three EL cranes of the series. The photo of 03302 is credited to Michael Bradley and was taken in Meadville PA in early-Conrail 1976. 'Spoiler Alert', as they say, as it's painted a solid glossy black with a white gothic number, the I. B. name in white, and the end of the jib and hooks in yellow. Other that that, you can't see much as the glossy black sucked up all the never-plentiful Meadville sunshine and the image is (at least printed) a bit underexposed. Perhaps you can track down the original slide and have better luck.

Nick
