Here is a recent video of our O scale layout posted on YouTube. The setting is Connecticut Ave from Calvert Street loop in Washington, DC to Chevy Chase Lake in the Maryland suburbs. There is lots of detail in the scale people along the route, including two nuns waiting for the streetcar, and ice cream man, cop writing a ticket and a dead skunk in the middle of the road.

Enjoy!

Great modeling, but what is it with O scalers that they have to run anything as close to the (scale) speed of sound as possible? If a real trolley moved that fast, passengers would be flying out the windows on every curve!

Lee,

The speed on the layout depends on the model being operated and operator being aware of scale speed. The center door shown does not run well consistently at a scale speed. Sigh.
