We've posted pictures of our Carbarn project (40'60' metal two stall) at:
http://www.sftm.org/carbarnpictures.shtml
The building is essentially complete, except for some trim, some wiring and a final inspection. Yesterday we ran No. 10 (Wason combine 1896) from its old wooden shed into the new Carbarn for the first time. You can also see some videos of our overhead wire installation for the new wire to access the new Carbarn on our Facebook page.

I'm very happy to see this important project come to fruition! I remember visiting a couple of years ago and seeing the drawings for the proposal. Looking forward to more good progress and hoping for a return visit soon.

Wonderful Job, I noticed it has two track doors, does this mean that there are more trolley cars that you guys are going to add to your collection?

We do have two Pullman-Standard picture window MBTA PCC cars, one of which (3321, last trolley car built in Mass) we would like to start cosmetic restoration of, so that is one candidate for Stall One. We also should finish work on caboose Central Vermont 4015. We have also been offered Fitchburg and Leominster No. 60 (Wason 1904), so that is a third candidate for Stall One, which is only long enough (60') for one car. We can use the old carbarn as a paint shed or at least cover from the elements. And if someone writes a big enough check we can extend the new Carbarn another 30' to make room for four cars.
