The Shay powered rotary snow plow at IRM interests me. It was built with a Todd industrial burner that burned #2 fuel oil/diesel. I don't know how successful it was or if there were any modifications needed after it was in service.

Any fuel is good for steam locos. Liquid fuels are easist and safer to handle than Gasses.

There already here is a selection of personal veiws, both experianced and not.

I watch knowing there is no point in joining an arm chair debate. Results count more than words.
