Post subject:  West Coast Railway Association to thin its collection...

Group,

I've been keeping an eye on this site to see if this topic would be offered for general consumption, though had not seen it yet, so here we go.

The West Coast Railway Association (WCRA) listed they are letting some pieces of their collection go.

See Link for article and list of items up for de-accession.

Seven pieces from the collection are to be de-accessed and the group also wishes to dispose of four other pieces that have never been part of the collection, (but were delivered unsolicited to their site). The museum’s Board has approved the de-accession and is moving forward.

Of particular interest to those of us in the Lower 48 is the Ex-M&StL RS-1 No. 951 which is one item up for disposal.
