The frame work is nearly done, we have grant money in place from Liberty Historic Railway, and we hope to be buying the heavy wood here shortly. Once the body framing begins to go up, I will post some photos under the caboose topic. We are pretty happy with progress to date.

Hi
I have a little bit of information on car # 124, this is the Guide to the Steamtown Collection, a free folder that was handed out to visitors.
Coach 124 is so old that its origins are surrounded in mystery. Its interior was destroyed by vandals before acquired by Steamtown from Quebec RY. Light & Power.
Now restored to display small exhibits of steam power donated by Steamtown visitors.
From what I can remember this coach on display builder plates, headlights, hand & switch lanterns, and a small steam locomotive, Number 8 with a track gauge of 9/1/2/"
This was one of two (2) QL&P cars owned by Steamtown the other was coach 102 this coach was used for the Blount film.

The Jackson & Sharp built coach for Quebec Railway Light & Power #124 arrived at Erik Thompson's facility in Minnesota yesterday. There appears that the coach made contact with a light post along the way which caused roof damage on the right side. Finally at its new home after 12 years at the West Chester Railroad.
