I do believe the liquidator's trying to do the right thing in the long run.
I understand there's at least one substantial offer in the pipeline and I guess he's following due process. The terms and conditions state that he has the right to refuse all or any offers. I don't believe there's any likelihood of it going to scrap.
Cheers, Bob

There will have a low key re-opening next Sunday, 6 October. Low key, because there aren't enough volunteer members to handle crowds at the moment. But we will re-open, and bring this whole sorry saga to an end with a fresh start.

Actually, the proper reason for a low key opening is to bed down systems and ensure we have the right processes in place before an official opening.
The new organisation has almost 100 members, so to say we don't have enough volunteers is a tad uncharitable.
Cheers, Bob. (who doesn't know who "kew" is).

Well, this is great news indeed. Was any of the collection sold off?

A lot was sold off, including the mighty garratt. But enough remains to make an interesting museum. https://www.canberrarail.org.au/rolling_stock/index.htm
