In some books I have seen reference to that car being at the Museum. The present day roster makes no mention of it.

What is the story?

Seems she is the "Sam Pinsley" on the Florida Central. https://www.flickr.com/photos/23711298@N07/3042359970

I think Genesee River was/is the car at the B&O museum.

Regarding the 3 prewar (1939) 20th Century Limited sleeper buffet lounge observation cars:

Built by P-S in Lot #6567 to Plan #4082. Ordered in October 1938 and delivered in July 1939. Had 1 drawing room, 1 compartment, and 2 double bedrooms, with 27 seats in the lounge. Owned by Pullman until sold to NYC on 12/31/1945 and leased to Pullman for operation. NYC applied numbers in 1952. Resold to the B&O in either January (Link) or early March 1956 (Madden), retaining original NYC names, and remaining in Pullman operating lease.

#10650 Genesee River to B&O #7510 Genesee River, withheld from Pullman operating lease in January 1966, subsequently (when??) sold or donated to the B&O RR Museum, later burned (what was the cause?) at an unknown date in the 1970's.

#10651 Maumee River to B&O #7511 Maumee River, withheld from Pullman operating lease in August 1967, subsequently sold (when??) to a Reverend Harrison (first name unknown), I recall that during Rv. Harrison's ownership the car was kept/stored somewhere in Massachusetts, but I may be wrong, later (when??) resold to a unknown or private owner and moved to Lamoille, VT, later (when??) acquired by the Florida Central Railroad (FCEN) as #1899 and renamed Sam Pinsly (Plymouth, FL).

#10652 Wabash River to B&O #7512 Wabash River, wrecked in early 1967 on an unknown train at Toll Gate, WV (exact date unknown, but car is listed as withheld from lease on 3/10/67, so that might actually be the wreck date).
