Post subject:  Private cars passing through Memphis

This morning I observed the following four cars in what used to be called Forrest Yard in south Memphis, TN, on the east end of a cut of mixed freight:

From east to west: "Erie" (URHS) 326; "American Orient Express (voiture restaurant)" 333; "SIRG" 327, and Iowa Pacific 448.

Since I haven't seen any discussion of this move on RyPN, I thought some of you might have an interest.

URHS 326 is an ex-Great Northern ACF lightweight 60 seat coach, one of several ex-GN cars they own and have lettered for railroads that never owned them:

EDIT: Ted Brumberg (Ranier Rails) has AOE 800333 as an ex CB&Q sleeper lounge:

I wonder if this is leased IP equipment being returned to its owners.

The three cars in the 300 series are all URHS cars on their way to Iowa Pacific on lease. The one with Orient Express on it is leftover movie paint from the early 2000s.
