There is another video of interest to me. I am the ninetieth viewer. The group has restored the belting and lubricated the line shafts for the machine shop. An electric motor belted to the main shaft starts the motion. Engine lathe, two wheel bench grinder, a heavy drill press, etc., all belt driven. 1975 was the last time I was in a functional line shaft shop. A Columbus & Greenville Railway Co. machinist flipped the switch so he could hone an edge using the floor mounted bench grinder.
