Tom Cornillie asked a question in the thread about saving Blue Comet equipment, and rather than hijack that thread any further, I thought I would comment here. This photo was taken at the beginning of last month as we passed through Lamy, New Mexico on Amtrak train # 3. Although the baggage car shown is not the car Tom asked about, there WAS some other equipment parked behind that car and perhaps it was located there. Hopefully someone can advise if the car is amongst the other Santa Fe Southern stuff located there at Lamy.

Seems like that baggage car would be right at home behind a certain former Santa Fe steamer being restored just a ways to the west in Albuquerque.
