Does anyone have access to anything from the Coale company in the way of trade publications, drawings, photos, or sales catalogues about their safety valves? I have two different pairs of Coales valves that probably date from around 1912 with no details about what models they are or the specifics about them.

I have done a google search and have all the patent info and two photos, but more photos and other material about the safety valves they made would be fantastic!

I have information on their locomotive safety valves circa 1930s and 1940s. It's probably pretty close to what Bobk has as we have exchanged notes. In my Google searches I've come across a number of hits, but they weren't relevant to me. There are several patents that can be found on-line. If you find a catalog, I'd be interested in seeing a copy.

Has anyone figured out which modern company, if any, inherited these Coale valves? If there is a company around and they still have the blueprints I'll see about getting copies out of them. I have contacts in a few of the big valve companies still.

Here is some information from the Baldwin Standard Practice Vol. 1 CD, published by the Engineering Standards committee.
Hope it is of some help.

Apparently I have not copied the information correctly. Not sure exactly what needs to be done, any help would be sincerely appreciated.
thank you,

I apologize if you have done all this already, but this is how I add files. Are the files on your computer? If so, under "upload attachment" hit browse, it will take you to your computer files, click on the files you want to add one at a time, they will go into the box labelled "file comment" click on "add the file", repeat until all of them are added.

Have done some rearranging, so here's another try.
Many thanks to Kelly Anderson and PMC
