EMD DASH-2 ANNUNCIATORS In response to a question received recently, here is a list of the functions for each variation of annunciator module that was used on EMD Dash-2 product line freight locomotives: AN10 - Hot Engine; Engine Air Filter; Ground Relay; Excitation Limit AN11 - Hot Engine; Engine Air Filter; Ground Relay; Excitation Limit; Grid Overcurrent; Motor Excitation; Grid Open Circuit AN12 - Hot Engine; Engine Air Filter; Ground Relay; Excitation Limit; Grid Overcurrent; Motor Excitation; Grid Open Circuit; Grid Blower Failure AN13 - Hot Engine; Engine Air Filter; Ground Relay; Excitation Limit; Grid Overcurrent; Motor Excitation; Grid Open Circuit; Grid Blower Failure; Locked Wheel AN14 - Hot Engine; Engine Air Filter; Ground Relay; Excitation Limit; Grid Overcurrent; Motor Excitation; Grid Open Circuit; Grid Blower Failure; Locked Wheel; Dynamic Brake Ground AN15 - Hot Engine; Ground Relay; Excitation Limit; Grid Overcurrent; Motor Excitation; Grid Open Circuit; Grid Blower Failure; Locked Wheel AN16 - Hot Engine; Engine Air Filter; Ground Relay; Excitation Limit; Grid Overcurrent; Motor Excitation AN17 - Hot Engine; Engine Air Filter; Ground Relay; Excitation Limit; Grid Overcurrent; Motor Excitation; Grid Open Circuit; Grid Blower Failure; Dynamic Brake Ground AN18 - Hot Engine; Engine Air Filter; Ground Relay; Excitation Limit; Grid Overcurrent; Motor Excitation; Grid Blower Failure; Filter Blower AN19 - Hot Engine; Engine Air Filter; Ground Relay; Excitation Limit; Grid Overcurrent; Motor Excitation; Grid Blower Failure I have not included the 20-series annunciator modules AN20, 24, 25, and 27 usually used on F40PH and certain other applications.
