After 62 years in Dehy park on display, the #18 was moved into its almost completed new building. As a reminder the #18 will be under steam on July 3rd and later in the year on September 22-24th at Laws Railroad. Tickets and information for both events can be found at www. carsoncolorado.com

So where is the building? In Independence? Out at the old C&C ROW? How did you guys raise all the money for that nice new building? That's a lot of bake sales.

At any rate, congrats on a great accomplishment.

Congrats and kudos for all that you've accomplished there. Nice building. Two stalls, eh? Hmmm...

It is located on the south side of the Eastern California Museum property in the town of Independence, Calif. The building is adjacent to where the tender work was done. I drove by it today traveling home from Carson City, Nevada.
