Floor repair begins with pulling up the old flooring... Does anyone know why the heavy plate is in place aft of the stoker that is kidden under the diamond plate?

New floor plates were welded in. The floor has been coated in an anti rust coating. New wooden floor to be installed this year once a couple of other minor repairs are completed.

Thanks Dave, There were so many holes in the old floor it was becoming a safety issue... |

Taking care of the 6069 today is the first step in putting her back in service someday. You guys have made a great effort with locomotives in Ontario. Thank you. |
