Text below was interrupted by supper, Shamelessly copied from J. David Conrad's two volume book, The Steam Locomotive Directory of North America; Built for Industrial Lumber Co. #101 at Elizabeth, LA Sale to Gulf Refining Co. #5 at Beaumont, TX Sale 10/1947 to Calcasieu Paper Co #5 at Elizabeth, LA Sale 08/1964 to C. W. Witbeck at Amite, LA (Witbeck was a professional photographer in Hammond, LA and hobby railroad photographer) Sale 1974 to Alex (and Dick Huff), Amite, LA for restoration and use on the Traverse City, MI branch in the original iteration of Michigan Northern Railway. MIGN morphed into a Diesel powered, state subsidized carrier between Grand Rapids and Mackinaw City. Included was the Traverse City branch, Sale 1974 to Arthur LaSalle (dealer), Amite, LA Sale 1974 to Gaslight Village, Glen Falls, NY for display Further history is unknown to me. Did look at the little beast on display last year. The condition of the crown sheet mandates it be a display. |

I photographed it last year. Good looking engine, with the exception of the strange panels on the tender that were apparently added for the sole purpose of putting a casino logo on there. In the 1990s, this place was the Station Casino, and thus the train theme.
