Post subject:  Monongahela Railway caboose 901

MGA caboose 901 (ex-CNW bay window) remains at the former MGA shops yard in South Brownsville. Doesn't appear to have moved for a very long time, as evidenced by rusty wheels. Photo available if you send me an email address by PM.

There were three of these, 901-903. Are any of the others still around on NS?

Most of the MGA buildings are long gone. A new street now runs right over the former site of the turntable.

Here's the MGA 901, almost exactly sixteen years ago, on an NS work train at Hollidaysburg, PA.

Thanks for the image! Other than faded out paint, it looks just like this today.

As for its availability for preservation/operation you'll need to talk to NS, the present owner. Good luck.
